From December 16-18, 2024, the Surveying Instruments Department had the honor of being invited by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to conduct a GNSS training session at Lam Takhong Research Station, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima.

The company's instructors divided participants into two groups advanced field users and project supervisors

Each group learned the appropriate techniques and applications for their respective roles. Additionally, they were introduced to Trimble Connect, a platform that enhances efficiency by enabling seamless file transfers via Trimble Cloud Service. The training also covered Internet-based RTK operations through Trimble IBSS and the option to use Trimble RTX, a high-precision correction service.

At the end of the seminar, a safety training session on surveying assets under power transmission lines was conducted by EGAT experts. The event concluded with team-building activities and a group photo session to commemorate the experience.
