The Surveying Equipment Department was honored by the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, to lecture and demonstrate the operation of surveying monuments using GNSS satellite signals to students. The demonstration and training were divided into two parts. The first part consisted of field demonstrations, allowing students to practice using and collecting data using Trimble GPS devices such as the R12, R8s, and Trimble DA2. After collecting field data, the second part took place in a classroom setting where guest speakers provided additional knowledge on the principles of surveying with satellite signals. The collected data was then processed, analyzed, and presented using Trimble Business Center software. Before concluding the lecture, the company provided small tokens of appreciation to the students to express gratitude for their commitment to learning about GNSS surveying technology, which will greatly benefit their future careers.
