Our Surveying Division delivered a Trimble C5 Total Station to the Port Authority, along with testing and training for their staff at the Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. The training included theoretical lectures in the conference room and practical sessions in the field. During the practical sessions, the camera's performance was tested according to the department's standards, with one particularly challenging criterion being distance measurement. It was set at 5 kilometers using a single prism target.

The results showed that the Trimble C5 camera could easily measure distances through the established criteria. This was made possible by the Autofocus technology, which automatically adjusts the focus when the camera is aimed at the prism target. This feature enhances targeting, sighting, distance measurement, and angle measurement accuracy and convenience significantly, even when the reflective target is located at a considerable distance and is difficult to see with the naked eye.
