In July 2025, the Survey Instruments Division organized a training course on the use of the high-precision Trimble R980 GNSS receiver for officers of the Royal Forest Department, to support high-accuracy monument installation and boundary delineation.

Company instructors demonstrated the system and guided participants through hands-on data collection. The collected data were then processed for baseline computation and static control network adjustment using Trimble Business Center (TBC) software. The instructors also explained the various parameters and values shown in the processing reports to ensure participants understanding and to build confidence that the resulting control points achieved the highest level of accuracy and reliability.
