In July 2025, the Survey Instruments Division delivered and conducted training on the use of the high-precision Trimble R780 GNSS receiver for CHAROEN POKPHAND PRODUCE CO., LTD. (CPP) to support boundary verification and integration into a geographic information system (GIS).

Company specialists provided guidance on data collection and real-time reporting between the field and the office via Trimble Connect. The training also included testing by uploading actual control point coordinates to locate existing boundary markers in areas with dense tree cover. Despite these challenging conditions, the Trimble R780 was able to maintain centimeter-level accuracy. In addition, the receiver is equipped with an IMU system that compensates for pole tilt, enabling convenient and efficient operation in all environments.
