On May 6–7, 2026, the Surveying Instruments Division conducted a training program on the use of Trimble GNSS receivers for officers of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.

The training began with an introduction to the operation of the Trimble DA2 GNSS Receiver in conjunction with the Trimble TDC6 Controller. Participants were then taken to the field for hands-on training, where they observed demonstrations and performed practical exercises in both Static and RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) surveying. The collected coordinate data was subsequently processed using Trimble Business Center (TBC) software.

By the end of the training, the participants had gained a solid understanding of GNSS surveying techniques and were able to effectively apply the collected data to support and enhance their ongoing work with improved efficiency and productivity.
